50 CENT Rakes In Millions Selling His Album for Bitcoin

Curtis Jackson "50 Cent" took the gamble years back when cryptocurrency hadn't yet been this popular, now it's yielded over 7 million bucks.

The rapper, and now movie actor cum producer, released an album, "Animal Ambition", in 2014 and agreed to accept bitcoin as a means of payment. As at then bitcoin was valued at around $662/bitcoin and it was reported that customers could get a copy of the album for just a fraction of a whole bitcoin.

TMZ has claimed being told by their sources that the "Animal Ambition" pulled about 700 bitcoin in sales amounting to over $400k, and has sat dormant in his account for years.

Today, the bitcoin value has been fluctuating between $10k & $12k per coin, meaning 50 Cent is about to earn big... anything between $7 million and $8.5 million.

The cryptocurrency market has been on the decline over the last few weeks, so 50 Cent might want to cash-out soon while the bitcoin value is still robust.
